FIVE THINGS THAT GOD DOES NOT KNOW

  1. GOD DOES NOT KNOW A SINNER THAT HE DOES NOT LOVE.
    John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

    Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

    One of the attributes of God that separates Him from man is the fact that God can love the unlovely. He can love based on His sovereign choice and he chose to love. There is no one who can charge God by saying that he is unloved and therefore without hope.

  2. GOD DOES NOT KNOW A SIN THAT HE DOES NOT HATE.

    Even though God loves the sinner, He does not get sentimental and overlook our sin.
    Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death."
    Proverbs 8:13 "The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate."

    Psalm 5:4 "For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee."

    Sin is any transgression of the law of God. It is an affront against the holiness of God. God does not see sin in degrees. It is all the same to Him and He hates it all.

  3. GOD DOES NOT KNOW A SINNER THAT DOES NOT NEED TO BE SAVED.

    Romans 1:18 "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness."

    Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

    Romans 3:10 "There is none righteous, no not one."

    Even though God so loved that He gave His only begotten Son to die for our sins, Psalms 7:11 tells us, "God is angry with the wicked every day." God cannot allow sin into His presence. He is Holy. He is righteous. Because of sin, the unregenerate man is, at any time, just one heartbeat from Hell. God will not tolerate sin in any form so every sinner stands on the brink of an eternity in Hell at every moment.

  4. GOD DOES NOT KNOW ANY WAY TO SAVE A SINNER OTHER THAN THE SHED BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST.

    We are not all traveling different roads to get to the same place. God has only one plan of salvation for all men.

    John 14:6 "I am the way the truth and the life. No man cometh unto the father but by me."

    Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

    This truth is, at the same time, both the greatest source of fear and the greatest source of comfort in all of the world. It is a source of fear for the person who has rejected it because no matter what he does or does not do in his life, he stands condemned. It is a source of comfort to the one who has trusted in Christ because the blood of Jesus Christ is sufficient.

  5. GOD DOES NOT KNOW A BETTER TIME TO BE SAVED THAN RIGHT NOW.

    II Corinthians 6:2 "Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."

    John 1:12 "But as many as received Him, to them gave He the power to become the sons of God."
